It has come to my attention that I have not posted in awhile so I thought I would do so.  :)  I am finally home for Thanksgiving break...I am so excited!!  I have been waiting for this week all semester.  No work, no school, sleeping in, eating lots of food, hanging out with friends....couldn't get any better than that!  And best of all, I am going to the Chiefs game tomorrow vs. Oakland Raiders!  I probably won't be able to sleep tonight because I am so excited about it.  Anyways, I only have 3 more weeks left this semester and then spring semester and I graduate!  I can't believe I will be with college...well, almost.  I still have 3 years ahead of me but I try to forget about that.  :)  Jenni and I also have a new roommate this next semester and we are really excited.  It's going to be tons of fun.

The semester is flying by.  Last weekend was the Carrie Underwood concert.  It was really good, but I have to say Rascal Flatts give a much better concert.  It was good to see Megan and hang out with the girls again.  I wish Kelly would have been there!  I miss you girl!!  I also got a new kitten a couple weeks ago.  It was definitely spur of the moment, but she's great.  Her name is Ellie Mae and she weighs 0.6 pounds!  Adorable!!  Just a few more weeks before Thanksgiving break and the Chiefs game!  I am really excited.  Then not too much longer before it is Christmas!

This semester has started off very busy.  When I first came back to school this semester I didn't have a job and only 12 hours of class.  Now I have three jobs and 15 hours of hard, upper level classes!  My favorite job is working at CMH Sports Medicine Center.  What a great opportunity to be working with Athletic Trainers and learning the insurance part of the job.  It is really going to help me when I start working at a Physical Therapist some day!  My classes are pretty tough...especially my Biology Seminar class because I have to give a 40 minute presentation all by myself!  I am not a public speaker and am very nervous about it!  I have had some fun now-and-then too.  I have gotten to hang out with some friends I haven't seen for awhile and have met some really cool people.  I am still looking forward to the Carrie Underwood concert in October and the Chiefs game in November!

So I woke up today at 5:30 AM!!  But that's ok because I definitely have had an amazing week!  First of all, I got to hang out with Megan, Kelly, Kara and Brittney for Kara's birthday.  Wednesday night we went to a Royals game because it was buck night and Kelly wanted to experience the dollar hot dogs.  Unfortunately they were not too appealing to her once we got there...but guess what?!?!? The Royals won...6 to 4!  (We also had the opportunity to do the dance competition but chickened out...too many people!)  We also went to Kara's sister-in-laws and had a little "surprise" party for her birthday after the game.  The next day Kelly and I were going to go swimming but it stormed, so instead we went shopping.  After Kelly left to go back home I surprised my mom by going to eat lunch with her.  I think she enjoyed the surprise.  It had been quite awhile since I had been to her work.  And now...today...I am at work.  It's great...I sit here at the front desk answering the phone, listening to music and playing on the computer.  And best of all...I am getting paid!

My third year of college is behind me and it was probably my favorite year so far!  However, saying goodbye to all my friends that graduated was extremely hard.  We had such good times and I will remember them always.  I am finally back at home now and will be working at the good old library.  Lots of working, shopping, and laying out in the sun is what I hope to accomplish before my senior year at SBU!  :)  I hope everyone has a great summer and please, please call me lots!  I love talking to everyone!
